Represents the XML element GenericFilter.

An optical Filter is a device designed to selectively control the Wavelengths, color temperature, vibration direction, and/or intensity of the radiation which it transmits or reflects. This element refers to a Generic Filter positioned along the Light Path in addition to the canonical fluorescence Excitation and the Emission Filters.
