Changelog

This page lists the changes in each published release of the Inscoper Viewer 1.1 series, most recent first. Each entry describes the effect visible to the person reviewing the data. Internal changes with no visible effect are not listed.

The installed version is part of the name of the executable, ImageViewer-<version>.exe, and of the folder it is unpacked from.

Version 1.1.1

Released October 5, 2026.

Added

  • Magnification in the scale bar tooltip. The tooltip of the scale bar displays the equation that gives the magnification.

Changed

  • Image tabs. The first image tab is selected by default, and the thumbnails are updated when another tab is selected.

Fixed

  • Stitching. The stitched image contained an extra column and an extra line. It now has the expected size. The offset interpolation of invalid tiles is improved, and stitching combined with a projection is corrected. See Example: Tiling Stitching.
  • Video export. The exported video did not apply the LUT. It now applies the LUT of the displayed images. See Video Export.
  • Stack reload. A stack image opened from disk was no longer recognized as a stack. It is again opened as a stack.
  • Simple tiling. The thumbnail of a simple tiling is corrected.
  • Image number. The image number was wrong after switching between the tiling and the position dimension. It is now correct.
  • Scale bar edit window. The window now has a Cancel button.
  • Image display. The following display issues are corrected:
    • LUT synchronization of multichannel images;
    • zoom after the image view is resized;
    • width of the last displayed pixel column.

Version 1.1.0

Released August 3, 2026. First release of the 1.1 series. It replaces the 1.0 series.
